IV · Development of children and communities

More than footballWith the club, children develop knowledge, healthy habits, self-confidence and a sense of belonging to the community.

A child spends hundreds of hours at the club. In that time they learn to pass the ball, arrive on time, handle defeat, help a teammate and keep believing when something does not work yet. More Than Football brings together programmes that widen this space for growing up through school, health, creativity, conversation and people children can learn from.

Why this initiative exists

We started this story because the club participates in the upbringing of children every day, long before and after the game.

Coaches see when a child needs a talk, parents carry a large part of the day-to-day organization, and the school and local community know the needs that the field alone cannot solve. We have already started to open collaborations and activities, and now we want to connect them into a clearer program that gives children more support throughout the year.

A club that helps children grow even outside the field
the most important result is sometimes seen years after the final whistle.
What we want to change

More opportunities for every child to discover their strengths — on the pitch, at school and among other people.

Programs will be built according to the real needs of the generations: sometimes through help in learning, sometimes through a health workshop, a conversation with parents, volunteering or meeting a person who can open a new perspective on the future.

the result

Support for school obligations

Through cooperation with the school, mentors and volunteers, children can get help in organizing, learning and harmonizing sports with school life.

the result

Health and lifestyle habits

Talking about nutrition, sleep, mental strength, safety, and body image helps children understand how to take care of themselves.

A club connected to the place where children grow up

The school, kindergarten, library, associations, parents and local experts participate in joint activities that open the life of the club to the whole community.

Implementation model

We listen to what the children need, gather people who can help and create small programs that enter the club's rhythm.

Each generation has different needs. That's why we choose topics together with coaches, parents, schools and children, and we develop activities simple enough that they can regularly live with training sessions and matches.

More than football

From an idea to a system that can last.

01

We talk to children and the people around them

Coaches, parents and schools help identify topics that are important to a particular generation at that moment.

02

We find the right person or partner

A teacher, doctor, psychologist, nutritionist, entrepreneur, former player or volunteer can bring knowledge that the club lacks.

03

We organize a child-friendly experience

Workshops, meetings, visits, guides and practical activities are designed so that children can participate, ask questions and take something away with them.

04

We continue what proves valuable

Good activities get a new term, spread to other categories and become part of the way NK Pag takes care of its players.

A measurable goal

In the 2026/27 season, we want to more strongly connect sport, school, health and community around the growth of our players.

The goal is for every child at the club to have at least one experience each season that helps them better understand themselves, their responsibilities or the world beyond football.

4+

development activities annually

Workshops, meetings and programs related to school, health, relationships and life skills.

2+

permanent partner from the community

Schools, institutions, associations or experts who participate in work with children and parents during the year.

1

a guide for families and players

A clear place for expectations, support, healthy habits and information that makes life easier with the club.

Where you can get involved

One knowledge, one conversation or one afternoon can stay with a child much longer than we think.

We are looking for people who want to share an experience, open the doors of their institution or help design an activity that gives children new security and curiosity.

01
turn on

Share knowledge with children

Hold a workshop, talk or hands-on experience in health, school, creativity, technology or life skills.

02
turn on

Connect the club with a school or institution

Help open a collaboration that provides continuous support to children and families throughout the year.

03
turn on

Be a mentor to an idea

Help the club develop a program, guide or activity that can become a permanent part of growing up with NK Pag.

IV · Development of children and communities

The shirt comes off one day. What a child learns with the club stays.

There is more than football to leave behind each generation confidence, healthy habits, friendships and the feeling that the whole community believed in its growth.
