Open DoorsPlayers, coaches, youth and volunteers get opportunities for learning, experience and new paths through the club.

Sometimes an entire journey begins when someone answers a message, invites a child to train, hosts a coach for a day or trusts a young volunteer with a first real task. Open Doors brings those opportunities together and helps people around NK Pag see, learn and try something the island alone may not be able to offer.

Why this initiative exists

We are building this initiative because a small club can become a big starting point when connected with the right people.

We have already begun opening conversations, visits and collaborations. Now we want to create a clearer path through which players can experience a different environment, coaches can receive mentorship, young people can work on content or organisation for the first time and volunteers can find a place where their knowledge matters.

What we want to change

A club where opportunities are recognized, shared and given back to the community.

Open doors include sports, education and club life. Every opportunity should have a person for whom it is intended, an experience it brings and a way to make what has been learned available to others.

Guest trainings, camps, workshops, visits to clubs and mentoring talks broaden the football view and raise the quality of work at Julovica.

Clubs, experts, former players and friends of NK Pag become a circle of contacts that can help when a new idea or need arises.

We find the opportunity, connect with the right person and make sure that the experience leaves something behind even after returning to Pag.

The initiative grows through specific calls and relationships. Every new collaboration starts with a small step that can actually happen and that brings someone new knowledge, confidence or direction.

Players, coaches, young people and volunteers share interests and areas where new experience could pave the way for them.

We are looking for a club, expert, company, event or mentor who can offer a real first step.

The club connects people, arranges the framework and, if possible, helps with transportation, logistics and preparation.

We bring what we have learned back to NK Pag

The participant shares the experience with the team, coaches or other young people and thus one opportunity becomes a value for many people.

In the 2026/27 season, we want to open more opportunities for people who want to learn, grow and try something new with NK Pag.

Each realized opportunity expands what is possible for the club. Over time, we want to build a culture where people are not afraid to ask, connect and take the first step.
